BC mets to my peritoneal cavity has added another very difficult layer to my 13 year cancer struggle. Any others out there with this or any doing Taxol? which is the chemo they want me to start now.

I have MBC S4 bone and liver mets, (BC for 14 years so far). I have had three (of six) sessions of Taxol so far. I seem to be tolerating it. Oncology nurse said it can be cumulative. I have a sore tongue which I mouthwash with salt and baking soda which brings relief. Red face the day after but it settles down. First and second day after treatment feels ok, then a tiredness descends. Some joint pain. Energy levels not too bad.

You are not alone which is a cold comfort I know. I hope you get in ok with Taxol.

No hun, I actually had to see what peritoneal was. Mine is mainly in my sternum but in hips, pelvis and sternum. Hope the taxol helps.
