I had lumptecony in Feb. No problem with surgery or pain after. About 4 days after surgery I am experiencing terrible nerve pain,from shoulder to elbow.and armout pain is the worse. Tried lidocaine but not helping at all.any one ever deal with this? Any suggestions??

My doctor prescribed me fenbid which is a 5% ibuprofen gel. When it ran out the chemist told me it was the same as any cheap 5% ibuprofen gel, it helps x

I use a low dose gabapentin, 100mg at nite.

You may need to up your dose of Gabapentin. I take 300mg three times a day

Thank you. I will be calling my Dr. today and talk to her about upping dose.I also have an area closer to shoulder that is completely numb.some things I've read say that may always stay numb..??.This is something I wasn't aware of before surgery..Just all so frustrating..Thank you for reaching out.

I was told it was the nerves that were cut during surgery growing back together. It is really a sharp pain at times. . I haven’t found anything that works. Best wishes.

Hi everyone and thank you for responding. Pain is much better.they should inform us better of time line of these things. I had port put in this past friday,chemo starts this friday. I'll be doing that for 5 months then 15 sessions of radiation...again thank you for everyone who reached out.
