Breast Cancer and Lymphedema Study

The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is looking for breast cancer survivors who developed lymphedema as a result of their treatment to a participate in a new study. This study is aimed at identifying the possible signs, symptoms and genetic factors that may cause some patients to develop lymphedema. Participants must:

-Be a woman over the age of 18

-Be able to read and write in English

-Been diagnosed with breast cancer and completed active treatment for breast cancer more than six months ago

-Had cancer treatment that included a surgical procedure, and may have included radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy

Be able to travel to the UCSF Clinical Research Center in San Francisco, CA, for the three-hour study visit

Been diagnosed with breast cancer-related lymphedema
