What was your menstrual cycle like before you took the pill ?
It was irregular
So when was your last bleed ? what age are you ?
It was on 7 March and I’m 17
Ok thank you. Its very common for women in your age group to have irregular cycles, that's what the pill can help with amongst other things. If you are sexually active, always make sure your chlamydia tests are up to date if appropriate, if you have any unscheduled bleeding.
I think the guidance is you only need investigation if your period doesn't arrive for 6 months. It is thought that women should have a bleed every three months approximately , if it isn't occurring naturally then something like the pill that induces a bleed is a good idea. I'm glad you have done a pregnancy test.
So to sum up - don't worry, this can be normal in your age group, still take contraceptive precautions if required, if you still have no periods by 6 months speak to the GP. If in the future the gap between your bleeds is greater than 3 months regularly, again speak to the GP as you might need further investigation or going back on the pill.
Remember stress like COVID , school or college or other pressures can also stop your periods ( or other health conditions , weight loss etc )
