Help with transvaginal scan

I am going through the IVF checks and they asked me to do a transvaginal scan. I went in for it, but they were unable to perform it as they couldn't insert probe as I was too tight. I have another appointment next week. Does anyone know what they will do then, is there something else they can try?

The probe that they use is smaller than an erect penis, so it should be able to pass into you easily. Sometimes the body tenses up and the vagina closes up when you have something like this so see if you can really relax, take deep breaths and try to allow them to put the probe inside you. thankyou, is there any other alternative method they may use if they are unable to insert the probe?

plus when the do internal scans they use lube also ,when I have had scans and the ultra sound wasn't able see anything they then did a internal one and they use lube uncomfortable if ya not relaxed
