I have asked doctors before having had a cancer scare. Given that I would under no circumstances have an orchiectomy what are my options if I got testicular cancer and I never get an answer.
So does anyone know of any options?
What would you do if you thought you had testicular cancer?

They can give your hormones like Estrogen to treat too one way to relieve prostate enlargement is with progesterone before it becomes a problem they don't like you knowing about that as want to give you pills that they get a commission on!
I had a uni-lateral orchiectomy and it was fine. OK, I was sore for a couple of weeks, but that was 12 years ago and I am still here...fighting fit and looking forward to many, many more years. My father didn't have it seen to (didn't spot it), and he wasn't so lucky.
Being a Womble (one ball) isn't too bad, and you can have a prosthetic if you want one.
I'm going to try very hard not to be rude but you have ignored the premise of my question which was "I have asked doctors before having had a cancer scare. Given that I would under no circumstances have an orchiectomy what are my options if I got testicular cancer and I never get an answer."
Losing a testicle to me seems like a fate far worse than death, it is not remotely an option for me. Your response is well it should be, that's not helpful.
Hi no ive someone i know that had one removed many years back when youngish and there doing ok the body will also adjust it's self maybe give you Tgels?
Or as i said Hormone therapy but that can have other problems like breast growth etc but something to discuss with them and if there not into discussing things properly with you ask for someone else so stand your ground!
