My father had a heart attack almost 2 months ago and had a stent put in. There was some damage done to his heart but the surgeon is waiting to see if time and medication will heal it. He’s been walking for 15-20 min each day and does cardiac rehab 2 times a week all for the past month. He’s also going back to work in early August. My question is .. has anyone went to a concert 2 months after?… is there a huge risk? I know his blood pressure may go up but I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your post on the Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack support forum.
We hope your father is recovering well. As he is currently following the advice of his medical team, we would recommend he contacts them for their advice as they have access to his medical notes and they would give the best advice in these circumstances.
Fingers crossed all goes well and hopefully he will be able to attend the concert.
He’s been following all instruction yes and he’s hasn’t had any chest pain or angina since. The way I try to think of it as people who want to have sex after a heart attack have to climb 20 stairs and I’m pretty sure he can so if he can do that he should be ok for the concert?
let us know how he enjoyed the concert. my concern anywhere after a quad and stents is covid. for some reason im more inclined for it although vaccinated....best wishes and hope it was a great band! sometimes just getting out is better than medicine....
hi , he’s fine to do that . My husband had one too and can get on a very long flight . It’s only been 3 weeks!! If he’s been checked over then why not ?? He needs to live his life as normal
