As I type this I am lying in a stroke ward after having had an MRI discover I have had another ischaemic stroke that makes 4 following my stemi 2 years ago.(please see my profile for full back story). My cardio professor who I havemendous faith in took me off apixaban and substituted rivaroxaban a year after my heart attack and said it was less risky for me. My new stroke consultant can't understand why?

I am going to get them both to talk but just wondered if anyone out there had come across this.

Very disapointing after a careful excercise regime, eating properly and taking medication on time.
