Easyhaler Salbutamol Sulfate inhaler
Have just had dispensed a different
salamol
inhaler, which is a dry inhaler and has a dose counter on the side. The latter should be easier to monitor instead of having to weigh
salamol
inhaler. Hope it is as effective as well. Wishing you all a pleasant weekend. 🤗

Ventolin vs salamol.
Finally told me it's because
salamol
is cfc free and its, 'better for the environment '. Have insisted on Caroline but they haven't put it on repeat. So will have to go through the whole saga again this month.

Reliever inhaler with dosage counter
Hi everyone, I’m sure I saw a post on here recently from someone who has been prescribed a new
Salamol
reliever inhaler a dry powder inhaler with a dosage counter, instead of the usual blue inhaler. I can’t find the post now but want to share the name with my asthma nurse. Anybody able to help?

Travel to Dubai and Prescription Medication
Nothing too controversial, Bisoprolol, Atorvastin, Aspirin & GTN spray for Heart related alongside
Salamol
and Soprobec for Asthma. I'm told by my GP surgery the right hand side of the prescription, naming the meds etc should be sufficient for this purpose?

COPD Progression
I am currently using Anora Ellipta 55/22 mcg inhaler once a day and a
Salamol
inhaler as and when required. Having spent so long asymptomatic, this is all new to me, I do understand that my condition is progressive but I am a bit concerned about the rapidity of decline in my condition.

I don't use oxygen, only Trimbow and
Salamol
inhalers; and if I have an exacerbation I have a rescue pack in hand (Doxycycline and Prednisolone) and a nebulizer.

Just been given Lubfobec - is it effective?
I'm so scared,
Salamol
didn't work at all for me and actually seemed to cause asthma attacks. The asthma nurse told me I could no longer get Ventolin and would have to take this new one which has both reliever and preventative together. I don't understand how this is better.

Ventolin Accuhaler
I am trying to move away from
Salamol
as a reliever and was really hoping to try a dpi inhaler instead. I suggested the Accuhaler to my GP but apparently it is not available anymore!? I am just wondering if this is true or if it’s another story to save the NHS money?

Salamol not as good!
I have tried to get on with
Salamol
but it just doesn’t work as well for me as Salbutamol. My asthma attacks always quickly abated with Ventolin but the new
Salamol
not only takes ages to ease my asthma attacks, but more often than not it just doesn’t work at all!

Feeling overwhelmed
My GP prescribed
Salamol
which did nothing to help the breathlessness and chest tightness I'd been experiencing on walking my dog for the last few months.

Causes Of Breathlessness
There were very sharp attacks that my fostair made worse but I found I could control with my breathing exercises and
salamol
, and I was better half an hour later. More a breathing dysfunction than asthma, my physio says.

Relvar Ellipta
At 70 (male), I developed asthma in November, and was given a
Salamol
inhaler and put on a course of steroids. Didn't have to use the inhaler for weeks, but by January, the asthma had gotten pretty bad and was getting worse. I was taking about 16 puffs a day.

In winter I normally have daily short, sharp attacks, very unpleasant but responsive to
salamol
. This attack unusually took an hour coming on, so we did all the normal things, air purifiers on, clear the bins etc.

Asthma flare up!?
My asthma plan says that of I have a peak flow of 350 then use my
salamol
which I have. I have had low peak flow before before an asthma flare up. So I going to use more to see if it's going to increase my peak flow. I did 4 more
salamol
and peak flow 400.
