Yes that's it. Glad it will be shown. Noel Titherage has done a great job. Many people do not realise the consequences of taking this drug.
I absolutely agree.All dopamine agonists have caused so much suffering over the years.
I suspect the percentage suffering ICD is VASTLY under reported because people do not make the connection to the drug. ICD can happen YEARS after you start. And no one reports it!
There will be a tiny minority of patients that do not experience augmentation.
I think it also people don’t report ICD because of the nature of some of the issues it causes
Yes. People feel shame. Even though the drugs are responsible and cause a complete personality change.
I have a suspicion that ICD may be underreported especially when DAs are given for Parkinson's as well - as PD eventually causes 'dementia-like' symptoms (So I've been told). So a change in personality is probably put down to 'dementia' and not L-dopa.??
