Medicine for the flu

Hello everyone once again !I have a mild flu and was wondering what can be take without it triggering my RLS.

I have the usual symptoms: sore throat, closed nose, a VERY light fever.

Vicks cough syrup, Robitussin daytime, Guaifenesin - used to treat coughs and congestion and Hycomine (hydrocodone bitartrate and phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride) - for the symptomatic relief of cough and nasal congestion are all OK .

Avoid anything that contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate, pseudoephedrine, phenergan, Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or Doxylamine.and probably Dextromethorphan

Paracetamol or ibuprofen are fine.

Also sudafed blocked nose spray with xylometazoline a nasal decongestant that treats nasal congestion and inflammation.

For fever Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB)
