hi everyone

my mum is waiting a urgent appointment with urology in 2 weeks as has a severe bladder infection

she has 2 stay on constant antibiotics until then. we’ve found out it is likely this causing her sickness. Shes tried the 2 rls safe anti sickness pills but they don’t work

dr has prescribed Metoclopramide but she won’t take it as it can affect rls

her rls is currently well controlled by burpronorphine , would it affect her rls jusy to try one or these pills

she is in a desperate way, constant nausea, cannot eat anything. she honestly cannot go on like this

It is actually a Cannabinoid. It is used when other drugs usually used to control nausea and vomiting have not worked well and it is safe for RLS.

Try to get medical cannabis. It really helps to stop nausea. I use oil with 20% THC.And buy waterfall d mannose pills. Amazon sell them. 2 x 1000mg a day. They DO work to stop UTIs.

And make sure your mum gets vaginal oestrogen. Major cause of UTIs in post menopause is low oestrogen.

You can get medical cannabis although probably not Dronabinol from Curaleaf clinic or alternaleaf.co.uk/ or google medical cannabis clinics. According to Joolsg "You fill out a form, they contact your surgery for medical records. You book a zoom tele appointment, pay £45 & they then send a link to a pharmacy who you pay online. The cannabis is then couriered within a week". Most people recommend Indica.

Increasing protein intake and supplementing with an electrolyte drink containing sodium, magnesium and potassium should cause the body to have more anti biotic effects and increase urination to flush out the bacteria which should reduce infections.

Older people have more problems absorbing proteins so should increase their protein intake.

Eggs are a good surce of protein and are well tolerated by most people. Some doctors advocate six eggs per day.
