hi brufax, I did try it but it didn't do anything for my RL. Then I tried cannabis edibles and they worked really well because it has THC. After 6 mths continuous use I had to take breaks due to tolerance. After a while the affect got less and less. So now I'm on methadone with the view of alternating with cannabis edibles.

Oh well thanks. No point going down that path then…

Hi, most people say that CBD alone doesn't do anything. It has to have THC in it (ie full spectrum). And even then, it works for some, not others.

I don't know the rules in NZ but here in Australia, you can't drive with THC in your system, even if you have had it medically prescribed.

CBD did absolutely nothing.

I STOPPED my rls not eating SUGAR. With in the first week my rls went down by 50%. Buy ine month down to ZERO! When I eat sugar it starts back up again and I have to do it all over again. But here is my protocol

NO SUGAR(Fruit, honey, cane sugar, bread, cheese) only monk fruit.

Mostly vegan Diet

Include- Vit D, Vit C , Iron, omega 3

Probiotic Lactobacillus Plantarum 299v (it help absorb iron)

Tumeric, astaxanthin, spirulina

Carrot juice, celery juice, beet juice.

Hawthorn berry or magnesium to stop rls immediately in an emergency but it eventually you wont need it.

I saw had miserable RLS for 15 years and not wven the famous DR. B,(you know who I’m talking about) could help me. I’d still be on drugs or paying $2000 a month for iron shots for him to help me.

Please dont give up!

Wow that's very restricted diet - don't think I could do that but thanks for sharing and well done you 😊. Thanks for your comments re CBD seems to be a consensus on that so don't need to go down that path.

Does monkfruitbthat also has erythritol aggregate your RLS or do you only avoid the erythritol because it is less healthy?

Im telling you Bru, this is the major way. This is the path. Everything else is just a bandaid. Give yourself a month to prepare, like your going into battle and then fight!

Due to celiac desease I am already gluten free and eat a mostly whole foods diet but i had been allowing myself a little dark chocolate. It does aggravate my RLS.

Tried it the other night for the first time (full strength 30%, full spectrum). Woke up once every hour. No RLS, but terrible aching in both lower legs all night plus a nagging headache that lasted into the next morning. A waste of 40€ for me, but others on here have reported some relief.

CBD doesn't affect mine but the edibles with THC does. I also find my trigger can be over the counter sleep aids (antihistamines!!)

No affect here. Waste of money.

I get some relief from edibles with Delta 9 and CBD. I"m not sure if they relieve the pain or just help with sleep but either way I get some rest. But I do wake up still, I just usually can get back to sleep. Edwins Edibles is the brain sold in the US. Grandaddy purple is the specific product name.

I tried CBD - didn't work at the dosage they recommended but definitely helped if I took a whole ml. I do take medically prescribed CBD THC and that is very helpful ie the oil or the flower. Yes the purple varieties are best for RLS as they are body calming. I think because it is expensive people often only take the small doses and that never worked for me. The best benefit is for sleep and calmness. Dry vaping the floor has an immediate effect which is wonderful if you are needing to get to sleep. I often have to calm my legs with some exercise bike or hot bath and then vape to fall to sleep. I take a cannabis holiday every now and then and have never built up tolerance. Been taking it for nearly 10 years. I take no other medication.

CBD did nothing for me. I added THC and still nothing. However I was in a very bad phase of dopamine agonist withdrawal at the time and possibly didn’t give it long enough before moving to methadone.
