I want to say thank you to all those members who posted replies to my last message. It means so much to know that people you’ve never met are routing for you and sending messages of support especially when times are particularly difficult and those who are trained to help you appear to do the opposite.

I will be going quiet for a but so don’t be concerned if I don’t post anything for a while, I’ve got some thinking to do and work out a strategy. But I will be in touch again as soon as I have something positive to write about.

My warmest regards to you all

Best of luck. That clinic needs a few people with not so nice signs walking in front of their entrance asap.

Every good wish for the time ahead. We’re all rooting for you, particularly those of us who have experienced some degree of difficulty in obtaining Buprenorphine from a stubborn and purblind medical profession. I look forward very much to hearing from you here at a later date that enlightenment and reason have prevailed!

hi hip hop, would it be worth looking for a private consultant who would be prepared to write a private prescription?

using kratom? But as you know - you don’t know exactly what’s in it and could lead to addiction- but at least then you might get the buprenorphine? As you got desperate (like I did)

The problem is that all GP surgeries have to follow nice guidelines and some of those don’t even follow that! For example my British consultant asked for targinact but the local CCG have put a ban on even proscribing that for RLS.

Go to USA and see the same doctor that shumba did. Get started on the buprenorphine in the USA with Dr Glen Brookes and then come back to the UK saying that you are taking it and need it to be continued .

?move to wales ?

Hope you are okay though and managing to get through this. I exactly how u must be feeling
