In what form & how much do you take?
Evening Primrose Oil is an Essential Fatty Acid (can't be made in the human body). I have taken it for years - before, during and after my RLS experience and haven't known any effect at all. That said - I recently switched to Borage Oil as it has a higher GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid) content than Evening Primrose Oil. GLA is anti-inflammatory and can also have hormone leveling effects. I started this along with Flax Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil and Fish Oil to help assuage arthritis. Most food-like supplements like these oils might take a few months to show effects.
