You could try it, but it is on the list for RLS triggers.
Exputec works for me without bad vibes. It is an expectorant.
If you have a dry cough with no mucus, then honey and lemon DIY drinks are very good.
Just a thought - you're not taking perindopril for high blood pressure are you? This gave me a persistent cough and I had to come off it. Just thought I'd check
No, I am not on perindopril but thank you.I caught a cough and a cold
I has a ingredient in it that can make RLS worse think it begins with D it’s a long name and it’s a antihistamine
I think that the confusion here MAY be that Benylin cold and flu treatments contain the antihistamine diphenhydramine hydrochloride which may trigger RLS.
However, as far as I can see this is NOT included in Benylin cough treatments which look as though they should be safe.

Benylin Mucus cough Max only contains guaifenesin so is safe for RLS.
In my experience any cough medicine that says "night time" on it makes RLS worse as it has sleep inducing ingredients that aggravate.I always take Benylin "daytime" cough medicine.
And any other "daytime" cough medicine.
Plain lemon & honey is soothing.
