A common theme in many discussions about all sorts of diseases is that exercise is good for us. I am great at exercising but only after I have finished doing something that seems important followed by several other important things until its bed time and I can pledge myself to exercise tomorrow. I walk about once a month and always feel better for it.
Do I need a hypnotist?
Thanks for the reference.
Yes, I've wondered if these things are possibly connected. I've sent away for a microbiome testing kit, it'll be interesting to see if it unearths anything relevant
Yes I have become convinced that my rls is connected to my gut. A big swig of good quality kefir twice a day really seems to help if combined with a strict anti inflammatory diet. Raspberry kombucha and prosecco cocktail in the evening and miso soup with lunch all help the gut! I still take magnesium at night and a mixed mineral supplement but the gut connection idea has helped me have a string of rls free nights.
I believe exercise improves everything. Finding some form that you love to do and do it daily if possible. Life enhancing on a physical, emotional ,mental and spiritual level .
The gut-brain connection is quite significant in many disease origins. Dementia and other brain-related diseases are on the rise. A grain-free, sugar-free, sweetener-free diet is essential - but more importantly a diet free of processed or manufactured foods. The additives (carrageenan and bromide for example) are common in these foods in the US, but are banned in other countries for precisely this reason.
