Just wondering if anyone is using a pneumatic compression device to ease RLS symptoms.
I experienced using one of these devices after recovering from surgery in hospital. Found it really good and wished I could have taken it home with me.
Any recommendations on what type is good. Thanks Julie.

Hi Jules1953, I actually bought one of these devices, a Normatec, after my RLS doctor in Switzerland told me of a study which I believe was done at Walter Reed Medical Center back around 2013/2014. We were trying to find a way for me to come off methadone, so I decided to give it a whirl. I used it pretty faithfully for over a year and thought for a while it was helping, but for me, the RLS was/is up and down independent of the PCD. I eventually gave it up as it was an hour every night and for me, didn't see any true benefit. It's now sitting in my basement!
For what it's worth, I did just read this month that the US FDA has cleared a peripheral nerve stimulation device which apparently is worn on the lower legs. empr.com/home/news/medical-.... Maybe some hope down the road there!?
