Targin and nausea

I have been taking Targin 10/5 for 3 months and found it very effective. However I have also been experiencing nausea off and on and think it might be caused by Targin. Has anyone else found this? Are there other opioids that are less likely to cause nausea?

Unfortunately all opioids can cause nausea although you could try switching to another one. For nausea you could ask your doctor for a prescription for Kytril (Sustol, Granisetron, Sancuso), Anzemet (Dolasetron), Zofran (ondansetron), Transderm Scop (scopolamine) or Qwells all of which are safe for RLS.

hello Walmer - I was tried on Targinact a while ago and did not feel great. I put this down to the naloxone in the tablet. I can take ordinary oxycodone without any nausea. Perhaps it is the naloxone which is affecting you adversely. Hope this helps.
