hI,I sent a piece of information to this forum ,not sure if it was received, I'm wondering if any fellow suffererers have heard of or used Tulsi tea.it claims to have benefits for balancing neurotransmitters, serotonin and Dopamine, is this another false claim.

Hi Whymelord, I don't know anything about Tulsi tea except if you are on aspirin or any blood thinning medication you should not take it as it has blood thinning properties. Many of the herbal teas have to be avoided when on blood thinners unfortunately.

Hi Jelbea, thankyou for your reply, I just happen to read about this tea somewhere and how it can balance the neurotransmitters, I guess I'm clutching at straws whenever I read something like this, all too good to be true.

hI Simkin, thankyou for replying, I saw it on Amazon, its also known as Holy Bazil, claims to help with stress and other things, doesn't mention anything about Dopamine neurotransmitters so I'll just skip it.

To be honest “balancing neurotransmitters” sounds like a very unlikely benefit for a herbal tea. If it was potent enough to affect neurotransmitter levels it should probably be licenced.

I tried Tulsi tea a few years ago and although I can’t remember the details it can’t have been effective because I didn’t use it for very long. I hope you find relief soon .
