On August 11th I began taking 25mg of pregabolin an hour or so before bedtime, increasing by 25mg every few days. I weaned myself off sinemet during the first few weeks. I have gradually felt less RLS and am now on 275mg. There is still room for improvement, but I am sleeping better than I have done for many years and consequently am happier and almost optimistic about the future. I wanted to take buprenorphine, but now not in any rush. Thanks to Sue and Jools for their advice.

pregabolin - phew!
That's fantastic news. Well done for getting off Sinemet. It's not easy and it's great that pregabalin is covering the RLS.
That's great - so pleased for you!
Powerful result. You have done so well.👍💚
I've had a similar journey. I'm on 300 mg of pregabalin at night. It doesn't completely help, so I supplement it with Kratom powder as needed. I usually end up getting up once a night to take some Kratom (which I take during the day as well), and to walk around then sit with my toes bent at an angle. There's a silver lining to getting up: the arthritis in my back is much, much worse in the morning if I don't sit up for a while at night.
Great news.x
Good morning - I too have found relief in taking pregabalin for many months now . It really has changed my life immensely. I am so pleased it is starting to work for you too xx
