Neurologist appointment waiting time UK

For all of those in the UK. Current waiting time to see a neurologist is about 6 to 7 months.

Unfortunately that waiting time is not for everyone in the Uk. I live in Northern Ireland and was told waiting list was approximately three years for a neurologist. I have to take oral chemotherapy and a side effect can be skin cancer so dermatology appointments are necessary. Again 3 year waiting time soI have no option but to go privately. unfair or what?
