If I go down the medical cannabis route does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy? I have done a quick Google but recommendations are always better

I get mine from themedicalcannabisclinics.com/

My doctor is Dr Sunny Nayee in the pain department.

They are quick to contact your GP to get details of drugs you've been on that haven't worked so they can prescribe cannabis.

For getting off Pramipexole and dealing with withdrawal it's probably best to use flower/bud which you grind and heat up in a small vape pen. You can then get instant relief as and when needed.

Initial consultation is £49 & then cannabis flower with THC will probably cost around £150 for a few weeks supply.

I use cannabis oil with 20%THC to help with MS pain and spasms and it also helps with sleep.

I used street cannabis sourced by my kids when going through withdrawal in 2016 as cannabis wasn't legal back then. It definitely helped.

Edible cannabis is not very helpful. Inhaled cannabis definitely helps. Personally, I would avoid cannabis for RLS because I do not like the idea of inhaling smoke or vapors. Edible cannabis in small doses 2.5 to 5 mg is helpful for getting a good nights sleep however.

If you're naive to the effects of cannabis, recognize that a benefit of inhaling it, rather than eating it, is that with inhalation you become aware of how strong the dose is within minutes, if not seconds. Don't worry about lung disease, as a multitude of studies have shown that medical smoking of cannabis is not harmful to the lungs.

The component of cannabis that is responsible for the "high" feeling is called THC. A concentration of 15-20% or higher of THC is considered strong even for experienced smokers. However, most patients feel that there must be some THC content in order to be beneficial for RLS symptoms.

As a long-term user of the medicine, I have found that it doesn't really eliminate my RLS symptoms, but does help me relax and get to sleep. It's best to try it out at various strengths for several days in order to familiarize yourself with its effects, as they vary widely from one individual to another. Here's hoping.

I have found gummy work using only indica at 5 mg mixed with CBD OR CBN. No hybrids or sativa - up all night with those. My gabapentin stopped working so I continued 900 mg gaba along with the gummy. After consulting sleep doc tho I increased gaba to 1500 and no longer need the thc. It was a miracle tho for months until I had the consultation.

I smoke it very rarely. I mostly use THC tincture, about 1/2 a dropper, or I make butter from the flower. I use that for cookies, brownies, etc. A great site to do a little research is leafly.com
