Hi all. Has anyone been able to access the genetic mutation test for RLS.... My diagnosis is based on symptoms rather than a specific diagnostic test and as I have Haemochromatosis too (high iron instead), which has been confirmed by genetic mutation test, and people such as me can have both , I would like to have a definitive diagnosis of RLS.

RLS and Haemochromatosis...definitive diagnosis
My understanding is that there are several genes, not just one and they increase the chance you will have RLS but don’t make it certain.RLS is usually very easy to diagnose as the symptoms are distinctive & unique to RLS, apart from occasionally for folk who have unusual variants.
It seems to be more than 1 condition but with similar symptoms.
I don't know of any test, but you can find out if you have genes that make it more likely that you will have RLS. join 23andMe and then join 23andMe+.
That’s interesting. I am already a member of 23 and me. I haven’t seen any mention of RLS on the site. I’ll look into 23 and me +. I’ve never heard of this part before. Is it clear how to access this part?
Could your RLS be a symptom of Sjorgrens Syndrome? Check out your symptoms against it.
