I was wondering if anyone has tried Mucuna pruriens for their RLS. If so, how did it work for you?

It has been mentioned before. Try a search. I don't remember it to be a overwhelming success.

Thank you LotteM, I will try that

I've never used this myself, but I did come across a member some time ago who had tried it apparently successfully for quite a while.

Unfortunately, he then suffered augmentation and had to try to stop taking it, which he found difficult.

I've never read anything about it and never come across anybody else

I'd only say then that if you do decide to try it, look up dopaminergic augmentation first.

Thank you Manerva. I certainly don’t want to go down that road again!! I figured since it is a natural extract from the velvet bean, it wouldn’t be as dangerous as a DA.

Not everything that's "natural" is necessarily safe, it's a modern myth.

I've tried with some success since a week. + Griffonia and of course iron. But I've stopped as well taking 3mg melatonin, gaba and pregnenolone.

I'm taking a mild somnifere plus passiflora plant extract.

At the moment my nights are much better. I just have to get up once or twice to have a cold shower on my legs. But then I sleep like a baby after... So happy!!!

Zurp11, thank you for your response. It’s so nice that you are happy and that someone on this sight can use the words “sleep like a baby”
