If you would like to help us in providing help and support about RLS and PLMD for sufferers and their families and to increase awareness of these conditions, this is your chance to make a difference! Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving £120,000 to good causes as part of its annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign. Your nomination could be the one that helps us win £1000. 120 different charities will be given an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation, with 10 winners announced each weekday from 7 to 22 December. Winners will be drawn at random - and whilst it is not a popularity contest, the more times a charity is nominated, the more chance it has of being selected.

Link to nomination: movementforgood.com/12days/...

Organisation Name: RLS-UK/EKBOM SYNDROME ASSOCIATION IS A REGISTERED CHARITY IN ENGLAND AND WALES

Charity No: 1140744

Sector: Health

Having a problem submitting your nomination? After searching for the charity, you need to click on the charity to confirm your selection - then a box should appear below asking for the charity type. You don't need to tick the marketing boxes to submit an entry.

Done--- even from the Republic of Ireland.

I'll email the Pope and CofI Archbishop since it is obviously an ecumenical matter and under Ecclesiastical administration.🙏

Oh-- we Irish are everywhere. We've just installed a Mayo man into some House in America.🤠

Madlegs- his great, great, great grandfather was from Mayo. As a plastic paddy ( my Da is from Mayo) - I’m always careful about flashing my Irish passport & dual citizenship. Always find it amusing that Americans are never just American. Maybe I should start calling myself Irish English 😂

Better than Anglo Irish??

Interesting point about the Irish claims on America-- something like 9 of the first Presidents of USA were Irish stock- but never claimed in Irish history books.

Why is that??

Perhaps ,because they all hailed from Northern Ireland- WASPs.

JFK is generally claimed as the first "Irish " President.

Now! Why is that!?

You'd never know I was a history teacher in a previous life. 🧐👻

Not Anglo Irish! As a scouser (majority Irish Catholic) we learnt all about them - not good. Mongrel probably best description.

I did from the United States. Not sure if I was supposed to or not. I had to choose International since the United States weren't in the list. But I've been a member of this support group for years and feel like I needed to show my support.
