I'm sorry to hear about the dercums disease, and the RLS.

It is possible that the RLS is related to the dercums, but it's more likely to be related to your fibromyalgia.

Aternatively there could be other factors including idiopathic RLS.

RLS is a complex, multi-factored issue.

It's difficult to say unless you give more detail.

If you answer the following I might get a clue what's going on here.

How long have you had the RLS symptoms?

Did they appear suddenly or slowly build up?

Does it affect your legs only, or do you get symptoms in other places?

Does it happen all day long and if it does are there any times of the day when it's worse than others?

Are you taking any medication for RLS, if so what's it called, what's the dose and how long have you been taking it?

Are you taking any mefication for your fibromyalgis, same again, name, dose, how long?

Are you taking any other medication at all for anything else?

Sorry it's not an examination, there's no pass or fail and no prizes.

Answering these will give some clues about how to deal with this.

Thanks for the reply, I take quite a lot of medication as I have UAT,Chronic back Pain, vertigo related migraine, arthritis, I also have sleep apnea. This restlessness is also now effected my arms and is driving me mad. I did wonder if it could be the fibromyalgia. As it’s late now and I’ve not been able to sleep I will list my medication tomorrow. Thanks again for your reply Jan.

Just looked at that and I don’t think so, seeing it’s banned in a lot of places, I have enough problems and don’t think that would help, thanks anyway.
