Could be the citric acid in the vinegar, some have relatively high levels.
I just felt I had to reply to your post. When I read about others who have this dreadful condition on the forum It is so sad and frustrating. Doctors don't seem to understand Restless Legs Syndrome very well so sufferers are often left to their own resources to enable them to find out what might help them.
It looks as if you have tried many things in the past and I am so pleased you have finally found something, so simple that helps. Was this something you read about that brought you to this recipe? It will be interesting to see if others have had the same results as you.

Thanks for the great info but I have to be cautious with apple cider vinegar. I have candidiasis and a badly damaged esophagus. Though I am aware of the many benefits of the vinegar, it wreaks havoc on my system due to the additional conditions.
… read you post and I hope your cure continues to give you relief. Just another word of warning... protect your teeth when you drink vinegar. A family member used to use it as a cure for another condition and it completely wrecked her tooth enamel and now is in dire straits from it. Please be careful to rinse your mouth afterwards. How long before getting into bed do you take this?
patty, I've been trying your apple cider vinegar recipe and have completed four days. So far, no relief. Did you find relief only after the 7th day? And how late in the day or evening did you drink the second cup? I find that if I drink a cup at around 1800-1900 that I have to get up a couple times at night and run to the toilet. That's not good.
Please could you explain what ‘the kind with mothers only works’ means? Is it a brand name or something? Sorry to be thick
