More Movement

SleeplessinLowerLake profile image

I just noticed that I have not had an episode since I got back to the GYM regularly! At least twice per week along with more regular walks. I'm pretty sure that my muscles just need to move more frequently! As you know...muscles DO have memory. Maby this might help some of you. Although I know if we have disabilities that makes it much harder to do. But I suggest MORE movement when possible...to get our legs to settle down! 😁

I have to agree with you. Since I have been walking more my sensations are a bit better. I also belong to an exercise class for older people which keeps me on my toes, so as to speak. I think well try anything to help but exercise, if we can take part is good for us any way.

I like to think our muscles have memory and I'm helping them to remember how I used to play badminton four nights a week at least! Chrys

Brilliant news. Dopamine is stored in muscles so it makes sense that gym work ( especially weight training exercises) will help.

What are you doing at the gym and how much exercising are you doing?

Hi Sleepless

Glad that works for you and long may it continue.

My pet theory now - I wonder if you have any electrolyte replacement drinks at the gym and if so what they contain.
