Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to tell you that I'm 57 years old with RLS since I was 18 years old. I have been with Pramipexol for a few years and with high levels of ferritin / transferrin and every night the RLS does not forget me. Although thanks to Pramipexol I can sleep with quality. Greetings to the forum. (Sorry, my english is low level)

Hi Mikeltxo, your english is fine. If you need help at any time, as in your Pramipexole is not working so well,. then members on here have good knowledge and experience on that med and most of the meds for RLS. Having a high level of ferritin doesnt help everyone, sad to say.

Hi Mikel. Am I understanding correctly, that you still get rls ,in spite of taking Pramipexol?

What dose are you on?

Whatever you do-- DO NOT INCREASE the dose .

Good to hear from you.

Hi Madlegs1, I'm taking 0.36 mg a day, it allows me to sleep well but every day I have the symptoms at the last hours. Thanks for answering.

Hi Mikeltxo. 0.36 mg of Pramipexole is a lot! As Madlegs says, do NOT increase the dose any more.

If you are happy with things as they are, only symptoms at the end of the day and sleeping well, that is good for now.

But, if symptoms get worse, or earlier in the day or you can't sleep, then you will need to reduce the dose NOT increase it.

I hope you understand this.

What is your exact ferritin measurement?

Right now I do not have access to my analysis but I can tell you that the doctor sent me to do the genetic tests for hemochromatosis. Negative result. Thank you Graham.
