I'm posting another link, similar to the last one on this topic.
This one has links to sources for information on many medications' ingredients.

How very interesting, thank you.
Ya never know what you are swallowing, when a med is supposed to help but makes you worse.
Yes- I find it quite extraordinary that simple medicines like cough bottles have red or yellow colouring in them that is actually an allergen. I think they have changed them to more natural ingredients now-- but used to be the case.--- sunset yellow and quinoline red !!!
When my IBS was at it worse , and i needed a cough mixture my local Pharmacist went through ALL the bottles to find one which didnt have the ingredient in it which upset my tummy which was sorbitol.
Good ol E numbers!
I agree. It has astounded me that many medications aimed at treating adhd are full of the very things which are reputed to increase hyperactivity.
Thank you for link. Very interesting reading
Thanks, Madlegs1. This is fascinating... and scary. I don't generally think of prescription meds as a potential source of allergens, and I had no idea that there were so many! Thanks for the heads-up!
Has anyone found free access to this article? Annoying to have to pay USD30 for such interesting info.
Its probably not only medicines. Supplements are probably the same which might explain why one brand of magnesium made my RLS worse and another fixed my cramps! The magnesium was a different compound but that might not have been the significant factor.
