First up ... Merry Christmas everyone. Please stay safe on the roads. Just wondering what the success rate is for those of you that have experienced cortisone injections. I had my first 6 wks ago (for the shoulder), and miraculously the following morning my pain had decreased by 80-90%. Lasting only 10 days. The following 2 wks I faced up for a 2nd one, (double dosage), and after 4 days .... zero pain. I have now been pain free for 2½ wks.
With RLS symptoms still under control with Sifrol, Bipolar contained by Seroquel, depression by .... 'something', not complaining ATM. Couple of weeks things no doubt will have changed.

I needed a cortisone injection several years ago for a whiplash injury to my neck/shoulder area. It worked amazingly well and I didn’t need my second one until 6 months later. I have gone without an injection ever since!
Today I realised that I was actually pain free. The only thing that I can put it down to is the double dose of Tramadol that I am now taking. Yay ... so happy
I had much the same experience with one in my knee. The first one lasted for about 4 - 5 months, then I had a second. It was never as good and only lasted about 2 weeks. Glad you are pain free though!
