Kratom for RLS

I have been having incredible results with the herbal supplement Kratom - symptoms subside within 30 minutes, and it has a sedative effect to help you sleep. If you suffer from RLS, look into it.

Hello goodejim10, where would one obtain this Kratom from? Are you aware if it is available in Australia?

It is widely available online. I go to Beach Beauty Botanicals on Facebook, run by a very nice and helpful woman named Janette. Kratom is, unfortunately, not legal everywhere, so you would have to check on that.

Damn ..... it is banned in Australia! Not fair.

Good news. I too have had relief from Kratom. I buy from Kratom UK, or KUK as they call themselves. They’re very reliable. Best strains for me are their Bali and Vietnam. When an attack is particularly savage, though, Kratom doesn’t work. I can’t wait for Cannabis to be legalised in the U.K. for medical use. Then I’d be able to get and use it without hassle.

How come you can buy Kratom in the UK, when its illegal here. ? I wouldnt get too excited if or when Cannabis gets legalised for medical use here, it will only be allowed for certain conditions like severe epilepsy.

Hi I've been reading about the Kratom as I suffer badly with RLS and have been trying to order from the site you recommended but am having problems with it. Can u offer any help please

I would be lost without kratom. I don't need it so much now but I still use it intermittently. I find it much better than the oxycontin I was on previously - much easier to discontinue (which I have done from time to time to avoid dependence) and apparently less likely to cause central sleep apnea. I use red vein Borneo and red Thai. I have also found it useful to have a green strain for during the day. The green strains are good for alerting and helping one to cope when very sleep deprived.

Do you find the green strains make you "jittery" to any degree? I'm sensitive to caffeine, and I'm concerned about it interfering with sleep.

No, they don't make me jittery but I'm not unusually sensitive. I have to drink three or four cups of coffee to get the jitters.

Hi there. where do you get your Kratom from and how much do you generally take. cheers.x

I am in Europe and order it from dekratomshop.nl. They post it to me. I take two teaspoons (using a proper teaspoon measurement) at a time - this is about 3.5 grams. It wears off after about 4 hours and I usually need two and a half doses in total at this quantity to get me through the night. I wouldn't start at this dose however. Take a half teaspoon (dissolved in grapefruit juice is best) first and see how you go. You will know within about half an hour if that is sufficient and thereafter you can take more if necessary. The variety I usually use is red vein borneo.

Thx .. but y grape juice ?

involuntarydancer profile image
involuntarydancer in reply toSvengolly

Grapefruit juice. The kratom is seriously bitter and unpleasant but for some reason the bitterness of the grapefruit juice seems to make it less awful than any other combination.

I’m happy it works for you. I’ve tried it as well as marijuana and neither works for me. I will do a little more research about which kind of kratom I used to make sure it is one of the kinds mentioned in other replies. Both kratom and marijuana are legal where I live.

That's good news. How much do you take?x

goodejim10 in reply toJumpey

I take 5-7 grams about 20-30 minutes before bed. I buy 1 gram capsules, which I take with water.

I have been controlling my RLS for more than a year with kratom alone. I use mostly red stains 2-3 grams a night and if the RLS wakes me up in the middle of the night I just take another dose and its gone within 30 minutes. I have also found kratom can vary in effectiveness for me from vendor to vendor. It paid for me to shop around to find what works best for me because everyone is different.

Great to know. I just bought a red blend, but I won't try it tonight, because I'm having a few beers. I have also woken up from RLS on occasion and taken a bit more, and it works like a charm. I love kratom!
