Hello all

Does any one have experience of talking Reboxetine?

I saw my GP today about changing my antidepressants (sertraline) as this contributes greatly to my restless legs and PLMD, he prescribed Reboxetine as it works differently to SSRIs apparently.

My hope is if I can find an antidepressant that doesn't aggravate my restless legs so I could wean off my gabapentin as it is not as effective as it used to be and I constantly feel dopey, as if I'm walking through treacle and my concentration/memory is awful and I'm sure this is down to the gabapentin

So if anybody has any experience of Reboxetine I would be very greatful

Many thanks 😊

Reboxetine is listed as neutral for RLS so your GP is correct- that's good!

It's not approved in the USA.

Let us know how you get on with it.

All the best,

I know your post was a while ago but how did you get on with Reboxetine? I have had severe RLS for many many years and have not been able to find an antidepressant that I could take as they affect the RLS so much. Presently I would so like to be able to try an antidepressant and have recently read about this drug not affecting RLS. Any comment would be gratefully appreciated.
