UPDATE SO FAR

Thanks everyone for all your help so far. It's always so appreciated as you're all so knowledgeable. Here's a brief update on my rls so far.

1: My Doctors appointment went ok. She just wanted to discuss my Ropinerole before it augmented.....preemptive strike. We're going to work out a plan when I'm ready to completely switch to Gabapentin.

2: My Kinesiology is still working. It really helped stopped my augmentation earlier this year. I think the vitamins have really helped combined with a different food diet. I'm on liquid Iron, Magnesium and B6.

3: The food diet has also extremely helped. I eat mostly for my blood group which has virtually stopped me having Wheat and Cow dairy. I've virtually stopped having sugar treats like choccy, cake, sweet sauces etc. basically anything sweet. It does really work for me and I certainly know if I've eaten something wrong or over indulged. Yesterday was an extra English muffin in the afternoon and last evening was hell !!! Couldn't even eat my meal successfully as my leg was going nuts !!! Looks like Wheat and sugar are my no no's.

4: I've always had rls in my arm near bedtime so I now rub tiger balm into my shoulder before bed which seems to help.

5: I definitely avoid the usual cough mixtures, cold remedies and antihistamines too.

Hope any of this info helps anyone.

Thanks

Lots of people find they have food triggers. so glad you have found yours and know to avoid them. The only trigger i have ever found for my RLS is alcohol, which will result in me being up all night pacing. No 5, is pretty much a no no for all RLSers, unless you get ones that are non drowsy. Oh and No 4, the tiger balm i got some and couldnt cope with the camphur smell, i always use one called deep freeze spray or gel.

Ah thanks for your Elisse. No partying for you then eh. I'll remember the freeze spray tip😊
