I saw the Channel 5 programme on RLS and just wanted to post this

I Suffered from RLS for many years. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and I was prescribed Metformin. A side effect of the Metformin was that the RLS just stopped. I just wanted to pass on this information. Thanks

Thanks Chickencrisp- your experience is unusual - most people taking Metformin complain of getting rls as a side effect.

That's what makes treatment of this ailment so difficult- it is different for everyone.

Is that not because the ovaries are no longer pressing on nerves? I have pcos and get the same relief but it works with anything that reduces the size of my left ovary.
