According to a vet Labrador dogs give out more dopamine than any other breed. Is there anyone with a labrador who finds their rls is less when with their pet?! !

Not sure what you mean by that. How would a Lab owner find their RLS is less. ?
It's their loving brown eyes and the way they'd be looking up at you when you're stroking them.
I have a Labrador and it doesn't make any difference to my RLS when I am near him and he sleeps next to me
White or black? The golden ones send out the greatest dopamine.

Black Labrador. I would have in the bed under the duvet with me if I thought it would help my RLS!
This reply really made me laugh. My dog (a tibetan terrier) managed to wangle his way into sleeping in the bedroom a few months ago and I haven't managed to get him back downstairs. I don't think I would like to have him in bed with me but like you I would have him there like a shot if it would help my RLS. My husband loves the dog so much he would probably have him there anyway.
My sister has had black labs all her life and she has wicked RLS and PLMD. I have had all kinds of dogs, including labs, also, and no have not noticed that, and do not even know how that dopamine from the dog could penetrate the blood brain barrier. Pets are supposed to be therapeutic and soothing, so while it is an interesting thought, I do not see it happening, scientifically. My dogs went running when I had a bad RLS attack many times. They stopped sleeping with me eventually. lol
Thanks to all of you who have replied. Labs are used as therapy dogs for autistic children which led to my wondering.
Yes i understand that, dog are used in therapy for lots of thingss. It was your Labrador dogs give out dopamine that had us wonder how the dopamine from Labs would help our RLS.
