Muscle spasums

Well folks I am wondering weather the awfull pains I get in my legs are muscle spasums ,I know I have rls but I recon it could be that, last night was terrible the pain was awfull went to bed 7.00this morning I have googled what it says and I think it's hit the nail on the head,what does anyone else think

I'm a member of TUK ( Thyroid UK) and PAS ( Pernicious Anemia Society) within Healthunlocked as I have both of those conditions.

Lots of members have pains in their legs and get their Vit D tested. Lack of this vitamin can result in severe pains in legs/ feet.

Have you ever had yours checked.

Also- have taken any Benzodiazepams for any length of time. I saw a documentary the other night which reported that people on longterm Benzos or withdrawing from them suffered excruciating leg pains for a long time after.

I wonder whether this could explain some of the " painful legs" experiences many on this site complain of.

Worth checking out your med records. These include Xanax , Prozac , Valium and some sleeping pills among others.

It's ok to use any of these for a few days or nights- any longer runs you into risk of the dreaded 'pain in me legs' Syndrome.
