For RLS?
Hi no but I know someone with disstonia and they have BOTOX injections for that which helps her a lot as it's quite painful ,,if it worked that would be worth having injections in the scalp although I don't like the thought but if it worked what the H--- anything that would help
Dystonia is muscular movements, simply put, so I do not see how Botox would help RLS. i do know people who take it for migraines, I tried it for mine, but it was a no go. I assume your friend's dystonia is in her neck/arms?
Hi Joe
Botox therapy is perfectly alright. I have treated several patients with this problem. However, its only suggested for patients with quite regular migraines. It is for adults with Chronic Migraine with 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting 4 hours or more. Botox therapy is not approved for adults with migraine who have 14 or fewer headache days a month. Get in touch with me for any further issues.
