Can you name a song that best describes your RLS? It might be something like Rod Stewart's 1978 song 'Hot legs'. Let's try to keep this lighthearted and laugh at RLS for a change (not discounting in any way how horrible it is for people).

Hi Beady, yes Pippin did. It is such a good idea that it has been put up on FB for people to put their suggestions forward of songs that best describe their RLS. Raffs has provided some truly great titles here and I also like Walking after Midnight, suggested by cicek.
Researchers won't take RLS seriously unless we do. When it is 4 AM and you haven't been asleep, a song is the last thing on your mind. Sorry to spoil the party but with me it is serious business. When I finally got a little help I was ready to end it all. That's a serious song in and of its self.
We all live with RLS and we all know what it's like and as trustees we are only too aware of the desperation some people feel. For us it is a very serious business. As said above, we are trying 'to keep this lighthearted and laugh at RLS for a change (not discounting in any way how horrible it is for people).' If you choose not to take part, we respect your decision.
I dont think anyone is singing any songs at 4 am in the morning, most likely cursing, yes. I know i am cursing when i am wake and pacing, and i am doing that every night at the moment. I know we ALL take this condition very seriously no doubt about that. But we can have a little lightheartedness along the way.
I agree with Elisse we have all had and many of us still have our dark times but a bit of fun now and again does not mean we don't take the condition seriously x
