Know the feeling you get so your to scared to go to bed somtimes

I'm on a new drug and while the legs aren't forcing me out of bed, (at the minute) - I am up at 5 or 6 am vomiting every day - its taken me nearly 3 hrs this morning to finish vomiting and get round to coming on line!

BG2Molly I can understand your annoyance at it - hope you get some sleep.

Hi

I take clonazepam to get me to sleep about 11but I have been waking with pain and leg agitation about 4.30. I have been taking a 50mg tramadol but lately can't dose off again. I had started on tramadol as that was helping with the RLS in the evenings. I also wear a Neupro patch. This morning at 4.30 I took a couple of 30/500 co-codomol and got a couple more hours of sleep. Long may it continue. The pharmacist said it was ok to take both painkillers subject to the overriding 24 hour max. For me the clonazepam is great as it always gives me about 5 hours of sleep.

Bg2Mollie, I have asked you before but you may have missed it. What is the dose of the Pramipexole?

I take 0.25mg 3x daily but doesn't seem to be working. I am not feeling very well at the moment. I think not having enough sleep and pacing up and down is taking its toll xxx

I would suggest a change in your medication, you are on a high dose and it is obviously not working very well at all for you if you are up pacing on a regular basis. The medication could even be making your legs worse as it could be causing augmentation. Did you have it in your arms before you very first started taking Pramipexole?

Thanks I appreciate your advice. yes I had it in my arms and legs but now in my back and neck. I can tell you that I do a lot of stretching.
