Jamie Curt is running a 10K marathon to raise money for RLS-UK!

A friend of Jamie's lives with RLS and in late September Jamie will be taking part in a 10k run to raise money for RLS-UK. This is an incredibly kind gesture by Jamie and if every one of our HealthUnlocked followers sponsored him £1 it would make an enormous difference to us.

So far, the response from our forum users has been muted, with only one person even acknowledging Jamie's efforts. Please, if you cannot sponsor him, take a few moments to share your thanks with him (by way of a comment) for what he is doing for you, for people living with RLS. We will forward comments to Jamie in advance of his run.

If you would like to sponsor Jamie then you can do so by texting JCRT80 plus the amount e.g. for £1 you would text JCRT80 1 or for £5 you would text JCRT80 5 and send your text to 70070. Alternately you can sponsor Jamie via the JustGiving link below.

Please help us by supporting Jamie. We sometimes struggle financially as a charity and these sorts of events are very important to us.

Thank you.

Hi Jamie.

As a RLS sufferer ( and 'boy' do I suffer) I am really grateful to you for doing this 10K run to raise funds for RLS-UK.

RLS is a miserable condition as your friend obviously knows..... I wish you good luck for the run.

(p.s the justgiving link doesn't seem to be working.)

I've donated via text.

Bless you

Janet.

Cannot get this link....is it because I am writing from Australia? I really do thank him so much for making this run for this awfully stressful insidious condition.

Sorry, link now corrected! Thank you for your support!

Thank you to Jamie :)

I just donated via the just giving link.

If you click on the "just giving" link and then type in Jamie Curt in the search box it will take you to Jamie's page.

He has almost reached his target of £250, it would be wonderful to raise even more !!

Best wishes to all who suffer from the nightmare that is RLS and thank you to RLSUK for all their support & help.

Really happy to see others supporting Jamie, now.

Jamie rocks! :-D

Five family members including myself and a neighbour have sponsored Jamie.

Jamie says training is going well.

If I lived nearer to where the run is being held on 29 September, I would be there in person to support him too.
