Has anyone found that drinking plenty of water helps RLS. I find that if I have not drunk enough during the day, this is another trigger. I always take water to bed with me and drink it if I wake during the night

Yes, thirst can be a trigger. Actually, I've found that anything that affects the nervous system like hunger, thirst, needing to pee, eating sweets, emotional upsets, etc. can affect the legs.

I also drink lots of water and all it does is awaken me to pea, no difference in restless legs.

Definitely. Not enough water during the day results in worse RLS in the evening for me.
