Whole body RLS: I have posted on here... - Restless Legs Syn...
Whole body RLS
My RLS is beginning to affect my abdominal muscles, Helluva way to get a Short case, a 12 pack for the young, of Abs. Pain at a whole new level. I've been given a Tens unit to try on my left leg the most active area on my body. Has anyone else used one for RLS? I haven't been able to try mine yet. I can only use one hand the contact pads are too delicate to be handled incorrectly with one hand. The leg is only active at night. It's doing its one hop kick now. I'm chewing up .5 mg Pramepexole so I can get to bed
Iv had all of that and tens Too nothing works for me my RLS is taking overt life Iv got Tinatas too So life is not good any more but I try to be happy o
Yeah, the good times are hard to find with RLS. It takes over your life? Try exercising. I'm going to return to the weight room to do cardio and resistance exercising again. I start Acupuncture next week I am severely disabled if I can workout anyone can. Make yourself feel better about yourself. Without known cause(s) for RLS how can there ever be an effective treatment? Heal yourself. Do good things to make your body feel better. Try Mg citrate, Negativity is your biggest enemy
I had a 10 week course of that needles every were but I'm sorry to say it did not help You won't have ant quality of life with RLS MY FRIEND life stinks when you suffer RLS Try to be happy
I told a Rheumatologist dr. that I had severe RLS because it started bothering me during the day so that my leg(s) and sometimes my whole body was jerking. Ropinrole would calm them eventually most of the time, but not all. She told me that RLS was only at night and that something else was going on. She took x-rays and put me in physical therapy. The x-rays showed that I had disc-degeneration in my lower back. The physical therapist told me I had bursitis in both hips. I learned very quickly that putting pressure on muscles around those areas and thighs was very painful. The physical therapist told me the pain from my back and bursitis had radiated into my muscles. The inflammation from ALL of that irritated the sciatic nerve which then caused the muscles to tighten and flex causing intolerable discomfort and jerking. I am still battling all of it with medication, Ropinirole and anti-inflammatory drug, and chiropractic txs. Ice packs also help. One dr. prescribed Lyrica, but the only thing that does is make me sleepy so I sleep a little better at night. Sleep is also a challenge.
Y restless legs don't jerk I just get servere pian in my legs arms back and face Iv tried all the zombie drugs But now I just take Lycra fdiring the day 75 mg 2 a day And at night I take loranzapam for sleep When I get attacks of RLS at night it's hell So know Quillity of life really
Erona, you are being so negative.. what's wrong? Do you need shoes thrown at you or what...lol (kidding you) I know exactly what you mean by quality of life when the
night drives you mad with pain, rls, and worrying about not getting enough sleep to
keep you going at work the next day... life becomes about finding the sleep somewhere
and sometime but when that time comes and the body is ready, you are punched in
at work, needing to commit. Does it help to say that most of us are in there with you?
Even an old crow like me (I'm 48) needs to complain and moan about it.. sometimes...
Thank you Yikes 2 /1/2 +3-6+10 You look good for 68 wow lol
