Often when I get RLS, my whole body gets extremely ticklish.
I've found that it often helps to caress my body (feet, thighs, neck, stomach, etc.). When I do this, it feels like electrical pulses flow from the place I'm caressing to my legs, and the urge to move my legs subside a bit.
Is this normal? Do you people have the same experience??
Thank you!

I have had that sensation when my RLS is out of control. May be due to a number of things like eating peanut butter or sugar in the evening. I do not believe that it is that uncommon.
I seem to be the opposite. If I touch my legs or I put my feet on the floor, that can set off the sensations up my legs. This probably happens when I'm about to get RLS though, not all the time.
Hi,this is exactly how my RLS starts,I just feel as if I’ve had a jab with a pin then it kicks off,I can’t touch anything with my feet as it makes my RLS worse.i never have pain, more of an itchy feeling .
