”I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep”

For sleep deprived miles are endless and young lives have been taken because no end was seriously a prospect in from Siberia the fire will save some from freezing.

Believe the public statements of intent will make finding a way with research funding simpler than UK where psychiatrists have taken funding from biomedical projects.

Organisations of the size of the NIH take time over adjusting position.

A quote by Benjamin Franklin "Words show a mans wit his actions there meaning"

will be the standard for judging what has been reported.

Almost a definite maybe in course alteration from a billion dollar funding source.

The good news of having low funding a small increase is a significant made me smile.

The "most powerful man in American science," Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), was interviewed by Charlie Rose, Tuesday, November 3, 2015

At 15:55 of the interview, Dr. Collins talks about new research at the NIH on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS):

Charlie Rose: I saw something, it may have been associated with the NIH, about chronic fatigue.

Francis Collins: Yes.

CR: Did you write something?

FC: Huh. [laughs] This just happened. So...

CR: That's what I thought.

FC: So, I've been puzzled and frustrated about how little we understand about this condition. Now just this… Here's a theme we've been talking about this whole time.

CR: I have chronic fatigue, what is it?

FC: Yeah. [laughs] But chronic fatigue syndrome, people who have that diagnosis, it's a very heterogenous collection of individuals, but the Institute of Medicine has just sort of defined what we should sort of limit it to is people who are profoundly affected by fatigue.

Moving CFS on

"Prof. Wessely, who pioneered CBT for CFS/ME patients, told MNT that while there is clear evidence for an underlying biological cause for the disease, as seen in neuroendocrine profiles, CBT can help patients to cope with the challenges they face"

Quite some about change from previous statements:

Professor Simon Wessely himself has stated that ME is a waste of money and ... perpetuated by errant illness beliefs and maladaptive coping”. .... from illogical thought processes, that our illness is idiopathic, psychosomatic
