How do you manage fatigue with autoimmune conditions?

Hi all, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition last year, and while meds have helped with inflammation, the fatigue still hits me hard. Just wondering if anyone has found any lifestyle tips or routines that help boost energy? Supplements, diet, anything natural?

Hi SophiaMartinez, have you checked with your doctor to make sure your not anemic.

It may be your short of iron.

Perhaps get a good multi vitamin or just iron tablets.

I myself take multi vitamins but I stopped them the last 2 to 3 months due to having iv and various treatment for an inflamation in the lung and a bacterial infection. I have now been put on iron tablets as my immune system and red blood cell count is very low.

Hope you get sorted Good luck. xx

Hi Sophia,

Sorry to hear if your autoimmune diagnosis.

Like Jillygirl has said, speaking with your GP or your consultant is best.

Also, have you seen if there is a specific group on health unlocked for your condition. Speaking with others with your condition or similar can be priceless, hearing how others have got through or managed, or even just knowing you’re not alone in what you go through.

Unfortunately, fatigue can be part a lot of autoimmune conditions and sometimes it is learning how to listen to your body and adapt to have your best life with the condition.

Hope you get some answers that help you through. Good luck 🙏🏻🥰
