Happy Thursday peeps, I've just got back from the first dog walk, on the way around the park I was thinking about things to chat about. I didn't get any bright ideas, just damp feet. When we got back I gave the new dog, Stellina, her biscuit then as I got the laptop up and running I saw the date! 19th that's my QUITVERSARY even 6+ years on, I'm still incredibly proud of my smoke free life.
Since quitting there are too many advantages to mention, it wasn't easy, especially at social gatherings and when I got in the car to drive somewhere. It didn't matter so much when someone else was driving but when I was in the car, on my own the first thing to do was light up. This car is 7 year old so during its 1st year I was still smoking but I didn't smoke many while I was driving because I didn't want to lose the "new car" smell . Keeping the car as clean and not stinking of smoke was a great motivation.
Try to find yourself a personal reason not to smoke and use this to create your own,new mindset, motivation.
I'm off to the dentists for another attempt to save some teeth which have been damaged by smoke.
Have a great Thursday
