Hang in there, you can do this

sip water all day long - this actually helps flush out the toxins :) :)

have a good read of some of the info under the Pinned posts to the right. The breathing exercises are very beneficial :)

Hi Kevin

I have used the patches and I'm now on the lower strength one but I my first week I also used the low strength gum which was good as it gave me a physical aspect. Lots of exercise and fresh air, I know some people struggle with breathing at first but I think the fresh air helped me as all cough and sore chest was gone really quickly and it helped with my mood too.

Keep in mind why your quitting and if an urge strikes take the time to focus on why...some make a list and keep it handy.

Keep in touch, I log in here every day and the positive energy from these guys is a real help and the advice on the pinned posts is very helpful.

Lastly for me was I told everyone...bit of pressure from those who've seen me slip, and quite relished it , because they didn't think I'd do it well I have and I will...my parents are more proud of this than my postgrad.

There is no down side, tell yourself and keep all the positives ...NOPE..good luck

Hi Kevin, keep busy busy busy and there's a breathing excercise to help a craving pass. Remember why you want to quit those dirty smelly cigs and look forward to freedom from them. You can do it, sending stay strong positive vibes to you😊x

Hi Kevin how's the first day going? Hope ur managing with the patches and quick mist. What's the mist like I haven't tried that! I love the chewing gum. My smoking cessation lady is kind enough to let me alternate my second nrt so Iv got patches for every day and gum and inhalator so u decide what u fancy more. Might check out the quick mist too haven't had that one yet!

I'm into my fifth week now and can't believe it really. Week 1 is hard and week 4 is hard but u can get thru it.

Have u read Allen Carr yet? It's good and free online.

Hope uv got thru the day unscathed we all supporting u. 😀😀😀
