Have been quitting for about a year. Mostly not smoking with episodes of cheating. Have decided today that there will be no more cheating. I am now a non smoker. Looking forward to all of your support as well as supporting all of you.

There's some good breathing techniques on the right under pinned posts that are very helpful. Also some inspirational quit stories to read if you feel tempted๐ฉ our motto is NOPE not one puff ever and that keeps us on the straight and narrow path๐๐ผ here's to a healthier future๐x
Welcome and good for you bonay on making the right decision to quit ๐๐
As the girls have already said, if you need anything shout, or if you fancy it please feel free to join in the posts.... we do sometimes go a bit off track.....๐ฎ๐๐
I started putting my cigs money to one side...you can use this to give yourself little treats as you go along....spa treatments, weekend aways or save for something special.....๐
I Also bought myself a pot of dreams and started saving two pound coins and when I had them also put in notes too.... I haven't opened it yet but bought myself two new ones as they were half price so I can start again once I crack this one open.... I am looking to get 2 teeth implants (not very sexy I know) as I have lost them through s m o king...๐ง
Good luck with your quit, stay strong and keep focused ๐๐
Good idea with setting the money aside! I also have two teeth implants. You will be very happy once they are in. Good luck! Nope, not one puff ever!๐ท
Dear Bonay....Welcome, welcome + well done. This is the finest group you will have in your quest to quit. Funny and a great resource. My quit was NOT EZ. Lots of potholes plus 20lbs of lard in my boobs, belly and butt. Howevaaaahhhhhh....my dear hubbie doesn't care. He is simply happy for the QUIT. It is best to stick to NOPE. Mr. Nic is not prone to letting you cheat. He wants all of you but he is a cheater and liar.
Your quest is doable, I promise, and the rewards infinite.

Still not smokinโ๏ธFeels greatโ๏ธ I really do not even crave them. While I was struggling, I would dream about cheating. I would then wake up and feel really depressed only to realize it was only a dream. I think that really motivated me to continue not to smokeโ๏ธHappy Holidays to everyoneโ๏ธ๐ท
